Embarking on a Personal Mobile Escape Room Journey
Our journey began in 2016 when escape rooms started gaining popularity on the east coast of the United States, following their success on the west coast, in Europe, and Asia in the preceding years. Owner Steve Kallens initiated the development of a physical location within the Casino at Dania Beach. The first escape room was designed to replicate the VIP lounge of a concert hall where players were immersed in the storyline of attending a legendary band's performance and gaining access to front row seats by successfully solving puzzles and challenges.
Unfortunately, during the construction phase, Steve encountered a series of unfortunate events including a misdiagnosis for a torn rotator cuff, resulting in a fall and a broken ankle. Subsequent medical errors led to emergency surgeries, halting construction progress. Despite facing multiple surgeries and a lengthy recovery period, the Puzzle Room was eventually forced to close.
Two years later, after relocating to the Tampa area and recovering from his injuries, Steve decided to innovate by introducing a mobile escape room concept, catering to various groups at their preferred locations such as workplaces, schools, churches, and homes.
Although the mobile escape room idea was promising, the outbreak of Covid19 disrupted business operations once again, making it challenging to attract participants for interactive games in close proximity. After a period of waiting, Puzzle Room Escape Mobile is now back in action, delivering thrilling experiences, mental challenges, and team-building fun to players of all ages at events and parties across the state.

Below is the added storyline to our Haunted Hurricane Beach House for one of our youngest clients, Niko, whose interests included science and disasters. We created a fun and age related series of clues and interactive tasks including our high tech triggering devices for the most unique attraction at Niko's birthday party. Players need to decipher the clues to creating an antidote for a chemical disaster. They would need to mix Niko's formula properly to trigger a science lab box to pop open to lead to their eventual escape.
